An Important Update on Midwifery Services at The Seven Hills West Fork Location
What changes have been made to the midwifery program?
As of July 1st, we are no longer providing midwifery services out of the Seven Hills Women’s Health Centers West Fork location. Seven Hills continues to acknowledge the valuable role played by midwives during the course of a patient’s obstetrical care, and we continue to offer midwifery services at our Anderson Township, Downtown, Mason, Batavia, and Milford locations.
What care options are available for West Fork obstetric patients?
Our team of trusted OB/GYN providers remains committed to putting our patient’s health first and we’re confident we can continue to meet their reproductive needs. We are actively assisting all West Fork obstetric patients who had previously received midwifery care in scheduling appointments with one of our OB/GYNs to ensure a seamless transition of care. Alternatively, for those who prefer to continue to receive midwifery care, we are happy to help them with transferring to one of our five other locations. We will also be glad to refer to an outside midwifery group, if this is a better fit.
Our priority remains the same in providing compassionate, personalized and high-quality care, and we are here to help patients navigate this transition. Our physicians are proud to continue to partner with Mercy Health-West Hospital which is consistently ranked among the nation’s top hospitals in clinical excellence by HealthGrades.
If patients have any questions/concerns, we encourage them to contact our office manager at (513) 481-4777 ext. 3306 who will be happy to assist.
Will this decision impact midwifery services at the other Seven Hills Women’s Health Centers locations?
There are no plans to change the midwifery program at the Anderson Township, Downtown, Mason, Batavia, or Milford locations. We look forward to continuing to serve all midwife patients at these locations.
